Tuesday's Row

Copyright AJ Horton

Happy Tuesday.  I hope you had all your ducks, er... geese, in a row today.  I tried to get all mine in a row, but, as you can see, some of them are a little off the row and a couple just want to hang together.  But that's life, isn't it?  Sometimes you're in a nice row with others, sometimes you're a little off to the side (maybe you're dizzy), or sometimes you just want to be with only one other instead of lumped into the crowd.  You can follow the crowd if you want, or you can see what they're doing first and decide if you want to join or go your own way.  However, if you want to fly, you have to team up and work together if you want to go far.   They usually fly in a "V" formation.  I've read that this "V" formation is for conserving energy as it's easier for everyone except for the one in the front.  When that one gets tired, he falls back and someone steps up to the lead for a while.  It's also easier for each one to keep an eye on each other and communicate when needed.  It seems to be such a logical team approach that fighter pilots have adopted this "V" formation.  I hope whatever team you're on helps your fly higher and farther.

I hope you had a wonderful Tuesday.  Thanks for looking.  I'm looking forward to seeing you tomorrow.
