Stumped on Thursday

It's Thursday - I'm stumped.  It has been a long day and so, I'm bringing out something I like but didn't think I would ever use - - a stump!  I was out kayaking one day this year and I saw this on a river bank.  Since I believe there is beauty in all things, then of course I see beauty in this stump.  It seems to be pointing at me.  Look at it from another angle and it's pointing away from me.  Or, maybe it's telling me to look in another direction.  Either way, it's intriguing.
