Happy Sunday to you.  My pic today is of a Hawk.  I think it is a Red Tail Hawk (even though you can't see the tail, the markings are there).  The Red Tail Hawk is the most common hawk in North America according to Wikipedia.  It is also protected by the Migratory Bird Treaty Act so no hunting these beautiful bird.  This bird has great eyesight as you can guess by the phrase, "watching you like a hawk".  Also on Wikipedia, some smart guy did a study and proved that the Hawk is "among the most intelligent birds".   Yep.  Let's see:  great eyesight, great hunter and protected from hunting.  I'd say that's pretty intelligent indeed.
