Thursday's Tillandsia Bromeliad 06-09-16

Hello and happy Thursday.  Why don't we look at a Tillandsia Bromeliad today?  This is an air or epiphyte bromelied.  It attaches to branches, tree trunks and sometimes leaves.  They need a place to rest, they just don't put down any roots or need soil.  They do like tropical weather.  

The fingers, or leaves of this bromeliad are all leaving from different directions and yet they all seem to be going to the same place to meet up again.  That seems to me to be what teams do - start at one common area, go their separate ways, then come back together again when the work is done.  Pretty neat, huh.
