It's a Berry Good Friday 12-11-15

Copyright 2015 AJ Horton
Hello and happy Friday.  While walking the neighborhood I happened upon a bush with some pretty little red berries.  I can imagine the berries making a heart shape and so I am passing my heart on to you.  Friday has long been the day filled with love and hope and I believe a heart symbolizes that.  However, these berries might just be toxic, so don't eat them - just enjoy the love from a distance.

I hope you had a wonderful, non toxic, Friday.  Thank you for looking.  See you tomorrow.

Monday's Got Heart

Copyright AJ Horton
Hello to you this Monday.  Sometimes on Monday's you're so overwhelmed you "can't see the forest for the trees". Sometimes, though, you get lucky and Monday's - like this tree - show you some love.  And a little love on Monday is kind of nice.  And, if someone like me is lucky enough to see and get this photograph, then I get a little giddy.  Now, on this Monday, I want to share this tree's heart so maybe you'll smile just a little and feel a little love.  We all could use a little more love, right - so why not enjoy it from wherever it comes from - like this tree?

I hope that you've had a good start to your week this Monday.  Thanks for looking.  See you tomorrow.

Monday at Home

Copyright AJ Horton

After working a long day on Monday, it's good to be home.  It's nice to see the cardinal enjoying the food for her and her babies.  And her mate.  I see them a lot here - enjoying the food.  I also see Blue Jays and, once in a while, a blue bird.  Home is where the heart is,  It really doesn't matter where that home is located - as long as the heart is there.  My heart enjoys this bird and all the others  at this home.  Every day that I am at this house, the birds help it be a home.  I am grateful.

I hope you had a wonderful Monday.  I hope you have a wonderful home where your heart feels love.  Thanks for looking.  See you tomorrow.

Tuesday's Heart Rocks

Copyright AJ Horton

Yes, this is a rock.  I found this on my kayaking trip the other day seeing my "special" flowers.  To me it looks like a heart.  Plus, something I didn't see at the time I took the photo, it has a hitchhiker!  I do not know what kind of insect that is.  I zoomed it but can't figure it out.  I guess I'll just say I have a black spot on my heart.  I figure if we live, we all have something that rides on our hearts - some good, some not so good.  Those things that help add texture.  Those things that stain.  Those things that chip away at and reshape it a little; maybe even harden it somewhat.  You know what I mean - all the hurts, big and small.  Then there  are those things that fill the heart and make it puff out - all the smiles, fun, laughter, friends, family, etc.  Hopefully all the good stuff beats out the bad and our hearts stay more light than dark.  I believe that we can use our minds and intentionally decide which way to go.  I know I'm still a work in progress, but I'm concentrating on my heart being more light than dark.  How about you?  Is your heart beating out the darkness?  I hope so.

I also hope you had a great Tuesday.  Keep on rocking that heart!  Watch out for hitchhikers. See you tomorrow.

Thursday Heart Love

Copyright AJ Horton

Asheboro Zoo in North Carolina is a wonderful place.  And look, it even has cacti that look like hearts.  And, well, since this is February, the love month......   I thought I would share this wonderful find with you.  Hearts are lovely to see no matter the type.   Although, this particular "heart" with HURT you if you're not careful with it.  Sometimes though, it's going to hurt you no matter what you do.  Regardless, we should take a lesson from it and remember to be careful with all the hearts in our lives.  Treat them with kindness and respect.  Treat them as you wish your own heart to be treated.  Show some gratitude and love.  And I hope you get treated the same.  I know I'm going to try that with all the hearts in my life.

I hope you had a wonderful Thursday.  Happy hearts to you.  See you tomorrow.
