Sunday Love 12-20-15

Copyright 2015 AJ Horton
Hello and happy Sunday.   I can't believe the weekend is almost over.  I told my cat, Effie, this and she just looked at me in disbelief.  My work days are very long and she misses me when I'm gone.  Since I'm on the computer now and she can't get petting, she has curled up and pressed behind me.  She is one loving cat.  Love is what life's all about.  There are a lot of kinds of love.  I appreciate all the love I have in my life.  This Sunday I feel love and I hope you do as well.

I hope you had a loving and special Sunday.  Thank you for looking.  See you tomorrow.

Wednesday's Treat 11-11-15

Copyright AJ Horton

Hello and happy Wednesday.  Today I want to show you my cat, Ayla.  Ayla loves treats.  She and her cousin, Effie, get a treat or three when I leave in the morning and then again when I get home.  So, if I'm lucky enough to be at home most of the day, and ask if they want a treat, I get a great response.  It's just love, pure love - or a little hunger.  I'm going to take the love; and give her a treat.

I hope someone gave you a treat today and you had a wonderful Wednesday.  Thank you for looking.  See you tomorrow.

Window Wishing on Wednesday

Copyright AJ Horton
Happy Wednesday.  Meet my dog, Lucy.  She is a mostly indoor dog that dreams of being outside. Lucy loves to sit on her couch upstairs and look out into the yard and the neighbor's deck and wish she were able to be out chasing the neighbor's cats.  She wouldn't hurt them, though.  Lucy just likes the chase.  Oh, if wishing only made her dreams come true.....

How was your Wednesday?  Was it a wishing Wednesday?  Were you at the window wishing?  Whatever you did on this Wednesday, I hope you enjoyed it.  I wish for you a good Wednesday evening.  Thank you for looking.  See you tomorrow.

Hey Tuesday

Copyright 2015 AJ Horton
Hello Tuesday!  Looking good!  This is my little furry friend, Ayla.  She is named after one of my favorite characters in the series "Clan of the Cave Bear" by Jean Aul.  And, like Ayla of the novels, she is beautiful, independent, intelligent, loving and a good conversationalist.  It doesn't matter that I don't know what she's saying - I make up stuff to say to her and she plays along.  All in all, we have great conversations.

I hope you have someone, furry or not, in your life with whom you can be playful.  Maybe it's someone you have silly conversations with.  If you do have someone like that, you know how fun life can be.

I also hope you had a wonderful Tuesday.  Enjoy your silly conversations.  Thanks for looking.  See you tomorrow.

Saturday in the Sun

Copyright AJ Horton

"Ahhhh, Saturday, thank God you're here!!  I'm going to to lie in the sun and enjoy this day as long as I can."  My sentiments exactly.  Sometimes that's just what everybody needs on Saturday.  Nap, rest, repeat.  I, on the other hand, do have plans today, but I can dream of lying in the sun.  This visualization will help me during the day to relax inside my mind.
Whatever you decide to do today I hope you enjoy your Saturday.  Thanks for looking.  See you tomorrow.

Friday the 13th Flower

Copyright AJ Horton

Ahhh Friday - such an expectedly happy day.   And, most often, Friday meets our expectations.  It starts off as a "bud" of sorts and then, as the day progresses, unfolds into a beautiful  evening.   Yes, it is Friday.  And this Friday is Friday the 13th!  A lot of questionable "coincidences" happen on this day.  Some people won't step foot outside their house on a Friday the 13th.  I love Friday the 13th and would like to celebrate it with a party!  There are only a few Friday the 13ths during the year.  As a matter of fact, there is only one other Friday the 13th this year - in November.  How sad.  But there's still time to celebrate today - on Friday - the 13th!  Get out there while you still can and have some fun.  Be safe.  Enjoy.  Live it up!    Don't let your Friday the 13th bloom fall into the alley of the 'fraidy cats!

Thanks for looking.  I must go now to celebrate Friday the 13th.  See you tomorrow.
