Hello and happy Thursday.  Happy Cinco de Mayo.  So, I went fishing - with my camera - and look what I caught!  I had to do a few things, like spotlight the fish and turn it into a pencil sketch to better bring out the fish.  This is the way I fish - - with my camera!  I don't need a license for it, either, just a camera and lens.  (Although, a fishing license is less expensive.)  :(

Thursday's Ship 10-15-15

Hello and happy Thursday.  Well, here we are next to the last day of the work week.  And now, if you look at where everything in this photo is pointing to you will see it - - looks like my ship came in while I was taking pictures of the marsh and it's leaving already.  Dang it!!  Looks like I'm stuck here in this beautiful country with nothing but my wits and my camera.  OK.  I'll take it!  Maybe I have a different kind of ship.  Maybe my ship is a kayak - and a camera!  I'm hoping I'll have some good lenses and lots of memory cards to go with the camera.

What does it mean to you when you think of your "ship coming in"?  Will you be rich in money, rich in friends/family, rich with your favorite activities or all of the above?  What will happen if you see your ship but just can't get to it, like mine here?  Will there be another, better ship?  I guess time will tell.

Tuesday Falls

Hello on Tuesday.  It's summertime, and it's hot!  And, when it's summertime, and hot, one's mind wanders to the cooler days of fall.  In the fall, we go to the mountains and go waterfall hunting.  This particular waterfall was near Asheville, North Carolina.  We're also a little cooler when we go waterfall hunting, although hiking to the falls does heat us up.  If you go waterfall hunting,  remember to wear comfortable shoes and carry water.  Oh, and also remember your camera!

Wednesday's Call

"Hey everybody, it's Wednesday!  Come fishing with me, the water's fine."  Wouldn't that be a great thing to do today?  Forget everything you have to do today and just go fishing?  I think I would take my camera and go out looking for photo ops.  What would you do?  Would you want to stay in bed?  Would you want to go shopping?  Watch TV all day?  Hang out with friends?  Or would you rather work?  Just keep your same routine?  That's all right.  Today, in my world, anything goes and we can do or be anything we want.  So go out today and give it your best.  Enjoy your Wednesday.  It's the only one you're going to get this week.  Thanks for looking.  See you tomorrow.

Wednesday Color and Snow

More snow?!  Bring it!  I've been to town, done the shopping so there's plenty of food and have extra source of heat if the power goes out.  I am ready.   And, my camera batteries are charged for the beautiful pictures I'll capture tomorrow.  woop woop     Since it's so grey outside with the snow, I do try to find something that has a little bit of color mixed in - like these red berries and leaves.  Red is, after all, one of my favorite colors.
